Quantity Surveyor Salary: £65,000 + Company Benefits Location: Hartlepool About the Role An established civils contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of multiple projects across the region. This is a key role within the business, offering the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of works while ensuring projects are delivered within budget and maximise profitability. Key Responsibilities * Manage the commercial aspects of civils projects from pre-construction through to final account * Prepare, submit, and agree interim valuations and final accounts * Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts * Procure and manage subcontractors, including payments and variations * Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities * Work closely with project teams to ensure cost-effective delivery * Provide regular financial reporting to senior management Requirements * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering * Strong knowledge of civils projects (groundworks, infrastructure, etc.) * Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills * Strong analytical and financial management abilities * Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines * Good communication and stakeholder management skills What’s on Offer * Competitive salary of £65,000 * Company benefits package * Opportunity to join a growing civils contractor * Career progression opportunities
