Freelance Quantity Surveyor Kings Lynn, Norfolk £300 – £400 per day (DOE) 12 Month Contract Commercial Build Project Anglian Recruitment are currently working with a reputable main contractor delivering a commercial project in Kings Lynn and are looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor for a long-term assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-structured site team on a live scheme, taking full commercial responsibility from procurement through to final account. The Role As Freelance QS, you will be responsible for: • Subcontract procurement and package management • Preparing and managing interim valuations • Variations management and cost control • Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) • Managing subcontractor accounts • Supporting the Project Manager with commercial reporting • Final account negotiation and agreement You will be site-based in Kings Lynn and working closely with the commercial and operational teams to ensure financial performance and project delivery targets are met. Requirements • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on commercial build projects • Strong understanding of JCT contracts • Experience managing packages independently • Ability to produce accurate CVRs and financial reports • Main contractor background preferred • Degree qualified or equivalent experience What’s on Offer • £300 – £400 per day (CIS) depending on experience • 12-month secured contract • Immediate start available • Well-supported commercial team If you are a Freelance QS based in Norfolk or able to commute to Kings Lynn and are available for a new contract, we would love to hear from you
