Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: South East London Project: £95m Residential Development Salary: Competitive + Package PSR Solutions are proud to be partnering with a leading Tier 1 main contractor to recruit a talented Quantity Surveyor for a major £95m residential development in South East London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work across London and the South East. The business is known for delivering high-quality, complex schemes across the residential and mixed-use sectors, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and career progression. The Project A prestigious £95m residential development located in South East London, comprising high-quality residential units alongside associated infrastructure and public realm works. The scheme is currently in the early stages of construction, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to be involved throughout the full project lifecycle through to final account. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will work as part of a strong commercial team and report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager. You will take responsibility for key subcontract packages and play an important role in supporting the commercial management of the project. Key responsibilities will include: Assisting with subcontract procurement from tender through to award Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation Managing subcontractor payments, valuations, and variations Supporting cost planning and budget management Monitoring project costs and assisting with financial reporting Supporting the preparation of monthly CVRs and cost reports Managing risk and ensuring contractual compliance Assisting with final account negotiations Requirements Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor Experience working on large-scale construction projects (ideally £20m+) Knowledge of JCT forms of contract Experience on residential, mixed-use, or commercial projects would be beneficial Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills What's on Offer Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to work on a major £95m residential development in South East London Clear career progression within a growing contractor Exposure to a high-value, high-profile London project Supportive and collaborative working environment If you are a Quantity Surveyor looking to further your career on a major residential scheme with a leading contractor, we would love to hear from you.
