A leading international construction consultancy is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join its London cost management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable surveyor to take ownership of major commissions, work closely with blue-chip clients, and gain exposure to technically demanding projects within a high-performing environment.

The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will manage cost and commercial activities across the full project lifecycle, from early budgeting and procurement through to valuations, change control, reporting, and final account. Working alongside senior cost managers and multidisciplinary project teams, you will provide accurate commercial advice and help maintain strong financial control throughout each commission.

This position would suit a Project Quantity Surveyor with solid UK consultancy experience who is ready for greater responsibility, increased client contact, and a clear route towards senior-level progression.

Project Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities:

Preparing estimates, budgets, and detailed cost plans

Producing tender documentation and reviewing contractor submissions

Advising clients on procurement routes and commercial strategy

Managing valuations, variations, change control, and payment applications

Preparing cost reports, forecasts, and financial updates

Attending client meetings, design reviews, and site inspections

Supporting final account negotiations and project close-out

Project Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements:

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

Previous experience within a UK cost consultancy environment

Strong knowledge of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying

Confidence managing projects and communicating directly with clients

Good understanding of standard forms of contract and procurement methods

Strong numerical, organisational, and reporting skills

MRICS qualified or actively progressing through the APC would be advantageous

In Return:

£50,000-£60,000 per annum

25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
