Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: London Sector: Commercial Fit-Out Salary: Competitive + Package PSR Solutions are pleased to be partnering with a well-established commercial fit-out contractor to recruit a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their growing London team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-growing contractor known for delivering high-quality CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects across London. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering fast-paced, design-led commercial interiors for blue-chip clients, developers, and landlords. With a strong pipeline of secured projects and continued growth in the London market, they are looking to add an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the Commercial Manager and project delivery teams, playing a key role in the commercial management of multiple fit-out projects across London. You will be responsible for supporting the financial performance of projects from procurement through to final account, ensuring strong cost control and contractual management throughout. Key Responsibilities Managing subcontract procurement from tender through to award Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation Managing subcontractor valuations, variations, and payments Monitoring project costs and ensuring budgets are maintained Supporting the preparation of monthly cost reports and CVRs Managing commercial risk and ensuring contractual compliance Assisting with final account negotiations and project close-out Working closely with project managers and site teams to ensure commercial success Requirements Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry Experience working for a main contractor or fit-out contractor Previous exposure to commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects is desirable Strong understanding of JCT forms of contract Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on high-profile London commercial fit-out projects Clear career progression within a growing business Dynamic and collaborative team environment Exposure to a fast-paced sector with diverse and interesting projects If you are a Quantity Surveyor looking to develop your career within the commercial fit-out sector, we would love to hear from you.
