Quantity Surveyor Salary: Up to £50,000 + Car Allowance + Additional Benefits Location: South Yorkshire (1-2 days per week in the office) Working Pattern: Hybrid - Office, Home, and Site Visits Project Values: £500K - £3M Sectors: Leisure, Commercial, Education (Fit-Out) About the Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and well‑respected fit‑out contractor delivering high‑quality projects across the leisure, commercial, and education sectors. You'll take ownership of multiple projects, managing costs, procurement, and commercial reporting while working closely with project teams and clients. The role offers a balanced mix of office time, home working, and site visits, giving you autonomy and flexibility while remaining closely connected to project delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage subcontractor and supplier procurement from tender through to appointment Produce accurate CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) Prepare and manage project tender accounts Produce valuations and ensure timely submission Oversee supplier and subcontractor payments and variations Maintain strong commercial control across projects valued between £500K and £3M Work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and supply chain partners Ensure projects are delivered within budget and aligned with commercial targets Requirements 4-5 years' experience working at Surveyor level Proven background in fit‑out projects within leisure, commercial, or education sectors Ideally degree‑qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment What's on Offer Competitive salary up to £50,000 Car allowance Additional company benefits Hybrid working with flexibility Opportunity to work on varied, high‑quality fit‑out projects Supportive team culture with room for progression
