Quantity Surveyor – Groundworks Stewkley, Bedfordshire £50,000 - £65,000 + Car / Car Allowance + Benefits About the Company Our client is a leading UK-based construction company specialising in reinforced concrete frames, groundworks, and piling. Our client has a turnover of over £150 million. Our client's expertise spans a wide range of Industrial, commercial and residential projects, from large-scale developments to complex refurbishments. Project values vary from £5m - £20m. About the Role The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of this Infrastructure project: Key responsibilities include: * Managing valuations, variations, cost control, and payments. * Working closely with project teams and clients to ensure profitability. * Maintaining and developing strong relationships with bulk house builders. * Producing accurate financial reporting to support senior management. * Playing a key role in the delivery of multiple new projects starting shortly. Requirements * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor * Experience working with Civil Engineering, Groundworks or Infrastructure * Strong commercial and NEC contractual knowledge. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Degree in Quantity Surveying Benefits & Rewards Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience) * Company car or car allowance. * Company pension and benefits package. * Opportunity to join a large contractor with huge growth potential.
