Quantity Surveyor – Timber Frame Housing 📍 Thanet, Kent 💰 £50,000 – £65,000 + Package (DOE) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing residential contractor based in Thanet, Kent, specialising in timber frame housing developments across Kent and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor with experience in residential construction and timber frame projects to join a well-established and expanding business. Key Responsibilities * Managing the commercial aspects of timber frame residential developments * Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation * Procurement and management of subcontract packages * Valuations, variations, and cost reporting * Managing subcontractor payments and final accounts * Working closely with project managers, site teams, and clients * Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to programme Requirements * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential construction * Experience working on timber frame housing projects * Strong knowledge of subcontract procurement and cost management * Good understanding of JCT contracts * Excellent negotiation and communication skills * Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying (preferred) What’s on Offer * Competitive salary and package * Opportunity to work on high-quality residential developments * Career progression within a growing company * Supportive and collaborative working environment
