About the Role: Prospero Teaching is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Secondary RE Teacher to join a secondary school in the Knowsley area. Secondary RE Teacher Location: Knowsley, L35 Start Date: April 2026 Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term Working Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Pay: Paid to scale Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering lessons: Designing and teaching lessons that explore religious traditions, moral values, and philosophical ideas Assessing student progress: Mark assignments, provide feedback, and track student performance to ensure learning objectives are met. Classroom management: Maintaining discipline and creating a safe, respectful learning environment Supporting student development: Mentor students, helping them develop both academic and life skills. Collaborating with parents and colleagues: Communicate with parents about student progress and work with fellow educators to improve teaching strategies.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school. Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided). Right to Work in the UK.
