Receptionist
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression
Answer and manage incoming calls, directing enquiries to the appropriate departments
Handle incoming and outgoing post, parcels, and deliveries
Maintain a tidy and organised reception area at all times
Manage meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for meetings when required
Support internal teams with ad hoc administrative duties as required
Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained
Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining diaries where necessary
Ensure compliance with company procedures, including visitor sign-in processes
Skills Required
Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or customer service role is desirable
Confident and professional telephone manner
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
Positive, proactive, and approachable attitude
Qualifications Required
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Additional administration or customer service qualifications are advantageous but not essential
