Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Hours: Approximately 8:30am – 5:00pm daily
We are currently recruiting for a professional, friendly and reliable Temporary Receptionist to provide front-of-house support at a busy site in Sheffield.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reception area runs smoothly and providing a welcoming and professional first impression to all visitors, clients and colleagues.
Assignment Details
Handover: 16th September
Temporary cover: 17th – 22nd September
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working hours: Approximately 8:30am – 5:00pm daily
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
As the Receptionist, your duties will include:
Welcoming visitors and ensuring they are signed in and directed appropriately
Answering and transferring incoming telephone calls in a professional and efficient manner
Managing the reception area and ensuring it remains tidy and presentable
Handling incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and couriers
Responding to general enquiries and providing assistance to visitors and colleagues
Managing meeting room bookings and preparing rooms where required
Providing general administrative support to the wider team
Assisting with day-to-day office and front-of-house duties
Maintaining a professional and welcoming environment at all times
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
Friendly, approachable and professional
Confident communicating with people at all levels
Organised and able to manage a variety of tasks
Comfortable working independently and using their own initiative
Reliable and punctual
Experienced in a reception, front-of-house, customer service or administrative role
