Refrigeration Engineer - Southampton & Surrounding Areas Full-Time | Permanent £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + Overtime + Call-Out The Opportunity On behalf of our well-established client, Alecto Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing team operating across Southampton and the surrounding areas. The Role As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. You'll work independently across multiple client sites, ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations. Key Responsibilities Installation, servicing, and maintenance of refrigeration systems Fault-finding and reactive breakdown repairs Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Working on a range of commercial refrigeration equipment, including: Cold rooms Pack systems Display cabinets Fridges and freezers Completing service reports and job documentation accurately Ensuring all work complies with health & safety standards Representing the company professionally on client sites About You Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential) NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred) Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge Full UK driving licence Able to work independently and manage your workload effectively Professional and customer-focused approach What's On Offer Competitive salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE Company vehicle and fuel card Overtime and call-out opportunities Pension scheme 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) Long-term job security with a respected employer Apply Now INDAV If you have the experience and qualifications required and are looking for your next opportunity in Southampton, we'd love to hear from you.
