An excellent opportunity has arisen for Refuse Loaders to join a busy waste and recycling team based in Waterswallows Depot in Derbyshire.

This is a physically active, outdoor role suited to reliable individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and are comfortable working in all weather conditions.

The Role:

* Collecting household and commercial waste and recycling materials

* Pulling and manoeuvring wheelie bins throughout collection routes

* Loading waste safely and efficiently onto refuse vehicles

* Working as part of a team to complete daily collection rounds

* Following health and safety procedures at all times

* Assisting with keeping vehicles and work areas clean and tidy

* Supporting the smooth running of waste collection operations

The Requirements:

* Physically fit, as the role involves heavy lifting, walking up to 10 miles daily, and working on your feet for long periods

* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

* Reliable, flexible, and hardworking

* Good team player with a positive attitude

* Awareness of health and safety and surroundings

* Own transport is advantageous due to depot location

* Ability to lift up to 75lbs safely

* Previous similar experience is beneficial but not essential
