Rate: £12.81 per hour.
Schedule: Tuesday to Friday
Hours: 39 hours per week. Shifts typically fall between 06:45 and 17:30.
Break: 30-minute unpaid break daily.Location :Doncaster, DN3
The Role
You will be part of a three-person crew operating a refuse collection vehicle, you will be on the move constantly, ensuring waste is collected efficiently across designated local routes while maintaining a professional attitude with the public.
Operating Machinery: Using the lifting equipment on the rear of the vehicle.
Teamwork: Working closely with a driver and another loader to hit route targets.
Customer Service: Acting as a representative of the service when engaging with residents.Requirements
Do not apply if you cannot meet the following criteria-you will be turned away if you fail to provide the necessary documentation or gear on day one.
Physical Fitness: This role involves walking long distances and heavy lifting. If you are not prepared for a high level of physical exertion, this is not the role for you.
PPE: You are required to bring your own Hi-Viz vest and safety boots to the induction.Training
Full training is provided via a one-day classroom and practical induction, followed by on-the-job shadow training to ensure you are up to speed.
