Stephen James Consulting is working with an established elderly care provider to recruit a Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of six nursing, residential, and dementia care homes across the West Midlands and surrounding areas. This Regional Manager opportunity is a senior leadership position within a growing organisation that is committed to high-quality care, strong clinical governance, and long-term service development.

This Regional Manager will play a critical role in ensuring consistent operational excellence across multiple services, supporting Home Managers, and driving continuous improvement in both quality and compliance standards.

Regional Manager Role Overview

The Regional Manager will take overall responsibility for the operational and clinical performance of six care homes. This includes ensuring services are safe, effective, and compliant with all regulatory requirements, while also fostering a positive and person-centred culture across each home.

As a Regional Manager, you will be expected to maintain a strong visible presence across your region, providing hands-on support to Home Managers and ensuring that each service is aligned with organisational values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As a Regional Manager, your responsibilities will include:

* Providing leadership and operational oversight across a portfolio of nursing, residential, and dementia care homes

* Delivering strong clinical leadership to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care

* Supporting, mentoring, and developing Home Managers to achieve high performance

* Driving improvements in CQC outcomes, compliance, and clinical governance standards

* Monitoring service performance and implementing action plans where required

* Supporting services through operational, staffing, and quality challenges

* Working closely with senior leadership teams to deliver strategic objectives

* Acting as a visible and supportive Regional Manager across all services to ensure consistency and stability

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this Regional Manager role, you will need:

* Proven experience as a Regional Manager within elderly care services

* Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC PIN

* Strong track record of improving quality outcomes and stabilising services

* In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance frameworks, and clinical governance

* A supportive leadership style with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* The ability to travel regularly across the West Midlands and surrounding regions

What’s on Offer

This Regional Manager position offers a salary of £55,000 – £62,000 per annum, depending on experience, alongside the opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious care provider that genuinely invests in leadership development and service quality.
