We are looking for a driven, experienced and passionate Registered Care Manager / Care Manager to lead and develop our domiciliary care service based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire (NG18).
This is an exciting opportunity for an established care professional who is ready to take ownership of a service, lead a dedicated team and make a real difference to the lives of people receiving care in their own homes.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the service delivers outstanding, person-centred care while maintaining excellent operational, regulatory and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
As the Registered Care Manager / Care Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running and continued development of the service.
Your duties will include:
* Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the domiciliary care service.
* Leading, supporting and motivating care staff to deliver high-quality care.
* Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and company policies.
* Maintaining and improving care standards through regular audits and quality monitoring.
* Developing, reviewing and updating individual care plans and risk assessments.
* Managing staff recruitment, induction, training and performance.
* Building positive relationships with service users, families and external professionals.
* Monitoring service delivery, staffing levels and care schedules.
* Managing safeguarding concerns and ensuring appropriate procedures are followed.
* Preparing for CQC inspections and implementing continuous service improvements.
* Ensuring accurate records and operational documentation are maintained.
About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
* Previous experience as a Registered Care Manager or Care Manager.
* A strong background in domiciliary care or homecare services.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or working towards it.
* Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and safeguarding.
* Experience with audits, quality assurance and service improvement.
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
* The ability to manage operational challenges and make confident decisions.
* A full UK driving licence.
