Job Title: Registered Manager Location: Central Hastings Salary: £40,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our small care home located in central Hastings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing care services for individuals with learning disabilities, demonstrating a passion for delivering high-quality care and maintaining compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards. Key Responsibilities: - Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and support to all residents. - Staff Leadership: Provide strong leadership and management to the care team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Conduct regular staff meetings, training, and performance reviews. - Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of care in accordance with CQC regulations. Implement and monitor quality assurance systems to ensure continuous improvement. - Care Planning: Develop and manage individualized care plans tailored to the needs of residents with learning disabilities, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. - Compliance and Safety: Ensure the care home complies with all statutory requirements and health and safety regulations. Conduct regular audits and inspections. - Budget Management: Manage the care home's budget effectively, optimizing resources to ensure financial sustainability. - Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to promote collaboration and community involvement. - Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation, providing reports to the CQC and other relevant bodies as required. Qualifications and Experience: - Must be a current Registered Manager with CQC. - Demonstrable experience in managing care services for individuals with learning disabilities. - Strong leadership and staff management skills. - Excellent understanding of CQC standards and regulations. - Proven ability to deliver high levels of care and improve service quality.
