Registered Manager – Children’s Home (Ofsted, Solo Placement) Location: Merseyside Salary: £55,000+ per annum + Ofsted registration bonus Driving Licence: Essential (own vehicle required) Our client is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a dual-registered, solo occupancy children’s home in Merseyside. This is a key leadership role offering full operational responsibility and the opportunity to deliver high-quality, therapeutic care in a well-supported environment. The home supports young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Learning Disabilities (LD), and trauma-related needs. The Role: * Lead the day-to-day running of the home in line with Ofsted regulations * Ensure strong safeguarding, compliance, and risk management practices * Deliver high-quality, individualised care and placement stability * Recruit, lead, and develop a small residential care team * Maintain accurate records and care documentation * Work closely with local authorities and external professionals * Drive positive outcomes for children and young people Requirements: * Level 5 Diploma (or working towards) in Leadership for Children & Young People * At least 1 year’s experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s home * Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks * Experience within residential childcare or therapeutic settings * Proven leadership and team management skills * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle What’s on Offer: * Salary from £55,000+ * Ofsted registration bonus * Hybrid working options * Ongoing training and career progression * Supportive and experienced senior leadership team * Opportunity to shape and develop a high-quality service This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated Registered Manager looking to take ownership of a service and make a genuine difference.
