An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 14-bed residential service in Blackley, Manchester, supporting adults with acquired brain injuries.

The service provides a calm, structured and empowering environment where the people supported can relearn essential life skills, develop greater independence and live lifestyles of their choosing.

We are looking for an experienced manager with a strong background in Residential Care and experience managing people, services and quality within an ABI or Complex Needs setting. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of CQC requirements and be committed to promoting independence, choice and respect.

Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:
Take overall responsibility for the leadership and management of the residential service.
Ensure the service provides high-quality, person-centred support.
Support people to live lifestyles of their choosing.
Promote and maintain independence, choice and respect.
Manage people, service delivery and quality within an ABI or Complex Needs setting.
Ensure the service operates in line with CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice.
Provide strong leadership and ensure positive values are embedded throughout the service.
Manage your workload effectively, demonstrating strong time management and organisational skills.
Work on your own initiative to ensure the effective running of the service.
Key requirements of a Registered Manager:
Experience in a leadership role within Residential Care.
Broad experience managing people, services and quality within an ABI or Complex Needs setting.
Experience supporting adults with acquired brain injuries.
A commitment to supporting people to live lifestyles of their choosing.
Strong understanding of CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice.
Strong leadership skills and positive values.
Ability to promote and maintain independence, choice and respect.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work on your own initiative.
Hold or be working towards a Level 5 qualification.
