We are currently working with a highly regarded and oversubscribed all-through secondary academy in Manchester, seeking an engaging Religious Studies teacher to cover a period of temporary sickness from 5th May for approximately 8 weeks.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and inclusive academy environment where expectations are high, students are well-supported, and teaching is underpinned by strong values and a clear focus on academic progress.
The Role
Part-time Religious Studies Teacher (KS3-KS5)
Tuesday to Thursday timetable
Start date: 5th May (approx. 8-week assignment)
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across all key stages
Plan, assess and track student progress in line with curriculum requirements
Maintain high standards of learning, behaviour and classroom engagementThe School
Large, highly regarded all-through academy (ages 3-18)
Part of a well-established national academy trust
Non-selective intake with a strong academic focus and excellent outcomes
A culture built around ambition, respect and compassion
Strong leadership and a supportive, well-resourced department structure

Excellent facilities and good transport links across ManchesterWhat We're Looking For
QTS, QTLS or equivalent secondary teaching qualification
Experience teaching Religious Studies across KS3-KS5
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom presence
Ability to engage and challenge students of varying abilities
Flexible and able to quickly adapt to a new school environmentPay & Benefits
