Researcher Design & Build (Office Fit Out)

My client is seeking a proactive Researcher to support its sales and business development function. This role is all about gathering intelligence, mapping target organisations, and identifying the key decision‑makers the sales team needs to engage with to secure meetings and build new client relationships.

It’s a great opportunity for someone who is naturally curious, commercially aware, and enjoys turning information into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct research into target companies, sectors, and upcoming office fit‑out or refurbishment opportunities.

* Identify key stakeholders and decision‑makers within organisations, including workplace leads, property teams, project managers, and senior leadership.

* Build detailed company profiles and contact maps to support the sales team’s outreach strategy.

* Track market activity, relocations, refurbishments, and lease events that may indicate upcoming project needs.

* Maintain and update CRM data to ensure accuracy and visibility across the sales function.

* Support the preparation of briefing notes, prospect lists, and intelligence packs for sales meetings.

* Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to help shape business development priorities.

* Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand their pipeline and tailor research accordingly.

Experience & Skills

* Experience in a research, lead‑generation, sales support, or market‑mapping role (property, construction, or B2B environments preferred).

* Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from multiple sources.

* Confident using LinkedIn, company registries, news platforms, and CRM systems.

* Excellent written communication and attention to detail.

* Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working to deadlines.

* A natural curiosity and interest in the commercial property or office interiors sector is a bonus.

What’s on Offer

* The chance to play a key role in a well‑established, reputable D&B firm.

* A collaborative environment where your research directly influences sales success.

* Clear development pathways into business development, marketing, or project‑related roles.

* Competitive salary + Commission & Benefits Package.
