Residential Deputy Manager Malvern Area £17.00 per hour Full-Time | Supernumerary (with occasional floor cover) Claire at Amber Mace is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a reputable care provider in the Malvern area for an experienced and dedicated Residential Deputy Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident senior care professional who has strong awareness of dementia care and a solid understanding of governance and compliance within a residential setting. The Role As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to support the day-to-day leadership of the service. This is primarily a supernumerary position, allowing you to focus on quality, compliance, and team development. However, you will be expected to lead by example and provide hands-on support on the floor when required. Key Responsibilities Supporting the Home Manager with the overall running of the home Ensuring high standards of person-centred care, particularly for residents living with dementia Maintaining strong governance, compliance, and quality assurance processes Supporting audits, care planning, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements Leading, mentoring, and developing the care team Promoting a positive, supportive culture within the home Providing occasional shift cover to support the team when needed About You Experience in a senior care role (Senior Carer, Team Leader, Deputy Manager or similar) Strong working knowledge of dementia care and best practice Good understanding of governance, compliance, and CQC standards Confident leading and motivating a team Organised, proactive, and quality-focused NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards) What’s on Offer £17.00 per hour Primarily supernumerary role Supportive provider with strong values Opportunity to progress and develop your leadership career A stable, well-run home in the Malvern area If you are a compassionate and driven senior care professional ready to take the next step in your career, I would love to hear from you.
