Brook Street Social Care is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to work with children and young people across the North East. The Role As a Children's Support Worker, you will: Provide day-to-day care and emotional support Support learning and engagement within educational settings Promote independence and positive behaviour Follow care plans and behaviour strategies Build positive, professional relationships Maintain accurate documentation Safeguard and promote wellbeing at all timesRequirements Minimum 6 months UK care experience Experience supporting children and young people Residential or education experience desirable Ability to work flexible shifts (including evenings and weekends) Strong communication skills NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (desirable) Full UK driving licence (desirable) Two professional referencesIf you are passionate about supporting children and young people and want flexible, rewarding work with full training provided, we would love to hear from you.
