Retail Control Room Operator (Shopping Centre)

CCTV Operator Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 Pay Rate: £14.78 per hour Hours: 42 hours per week – 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights) Contract: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking a vigilant and proactive CCTV Operator to join a fast-paced retail control room environment. This is a dynamic role where you will monitor live incidents, respond quickly to situations, and support the safety of a busy retail site. Key Duties * Monitor CCTV systems and respond to incidents in real time * Manage access control and maintain accurate records * Act as a key communication point within the control room * Handle alarms, emergencies, and liaise with emergency services * Complete incident reports and maintain control room logs * Support the smooth running of a high-pressure environment Requirements * Valid SIA Licence and CCTV Licence (essential) * Strong communication and IT skills * Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure * Experience in a busy control room or retail environment (desirable) * Professional and reliable with a strong attention to detail City Group is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all backgrounds
