Resourcing Group is looking for a highly skilled Roofer with dual expertise in flat roofing (heat application) and pitched roofing (slate and tile). This role is essential for our high-standard maintenance and installation projects. We require a professional who is not only technically proficient but also meets strict safety and driving standards. Key Responsibilities Flat Roofing: Expertly install and repair flat roofing systems using heat application (e.g., torch-on felt). CITB Standards must be followed for all hot works. Pitched Roofing: Full installation and repair of pitched roofs using slate and tile. Essential Lead Work: Carry out specialist lead work, including bossing, welding, and fitting flashings around chimneys, valleys, and adjoining walls. Inspections & Maintenance: Diagnose leaks, inspect roof timbers, and perform reactive repairs to ensure structures remain watertight.Requirements & Qualifications Technical Experience: Proven experience in both flat (heat applied) and pitched roofing is mandatory. Specific experience in lead work is an essential requirement for this role. Driving Standards: Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence with fewer than 5 penalty points. Strictly no driving bans within the last 5 years. Must be comfortable driving a tracked company vehicle equipped with internal and external cab cameras. Vetting: Ability to pass a Basic DBS check is required for site access. Physical Fitness: Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and lift heavy materials (e.g., slate crates, felt rolls) in all weather conditions.Package & Hours Salary: Standard rate Bonus: 5% annual bonus paid each March (pro rata). Benefits: Provided with a Work Van, Fuel Card, all Tools, Uniform, and PPE.
