Domestic Gas Engineer Salary: £40,000–£42,000 per annum van and fuel card Cornwall We are working with a maintenance and property services company to recruit a Domestic Gas Engineer on a permanent basis (39 hours per week). This is a permanent position offering a company van, fuel card, and excellent development opportunities. This role would suit a Domestic Gas Engineer with strong servicing and repair knowledge, who takes pride in delivering high standards of health & safety and customer care within occupied properties. The RoleAs a Domestic Gas Engineer, your day-to-day duties will include: Annual gas servicing Maintenance repairs and fault-finding Central heating upgrades Boiler installations and replacements Working in occupied domestic properties Using a tablet-based system to receive and manage jobs Ensuring all works are completed in line with current gas regulations and Health & Safety legislation You will also have access to a wide range of development opportunities, including licensed asbestos removal training and further professional upskilling. Requirements (Skills & Qualifications): Full UK driving licence Domestic Gas qualifications (Gas Safe registered) OTEC registered (desirable but not essential) Previous experience in servicing, repairs and boiler replacements Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team Engineers are provided with a company van and fuel card, so a full driving licence is essential.
