Sales Coordinator - About the Company
Our client is an established and growing business supplying products to a range of retail customers. They are looking for a proactive and organised Sales Coordinator to join their busy team, supporting key customer accounts and the wider UK sales office.
Sales Coordinator - Details
Monday – Thursday, 8:30am – 5pm, Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Fully office-based.
21 days holiday, plus bank holidays and Christmas office closure (three working days).
Staff discount on products.
Subsidised canteen.
Free on-site parking.
Opportunity to develop within the wider Operations function.
Sales Coordinator - Responsibilities
Processing customer orders and managing order enquiries via email and telephone.
Building and maintaining relationships with key retail customers and their merchandising teams.
Coordinating deliveries, bookings and order progress with the warehouse and logistics teams.
Providing updates on stock availability, deliveries and customer queries.
Maintaining accurate customer records, pricing and sales documentation.
Liaising with internal sales, merchandising, planning and finance teams.
Supporting quotations, customer portals and export documentation.
Providing general support across the sales office and wider business when required.
Sales Coordinator - What We're Looking For
Previous office-based experience in sales administration, customer service or account coordination.
Confident managing customer relationships and taking ownership of queries and orders.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Confident telephone manner and strong written communication skills.
Organised, proactive and able to manage and prioritise your own workload.
A positive work ethic, with a hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck in.
Desirable
Experience working with retail or B2B accounts.
Background in manufacturing, distribution or logistics.
Familiarity with order processing systems or customer portals.
