Sales Manager
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and providing technical support to customers.
The ideal applicant will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the products on offer.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and establish new and existing customer relationships.
* Identify customer needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
* Prepare and process quotations and orders.
* Develop sales plans and strategies to increase sales.
* Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.
* Analyse market trends and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement.
Requirements
* The ideal candidate will have a machine shop or steel sales background.
* Knowledge of oilfield steel grades advantageous.
* Strong customer-facing skills.
* Sales & customer service experience.
* Clear and confident phone manner.
* Ability to self-manage, prioritize and use your own initiative.
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
* Problem solving & working within a team.
* Computer literate.
* Ability to retain information.
* Eye for detail.
Salary- circa £50K
