Scheme Manager
About the Role
As Scheme Manager, you will act as the main point of contact for residents, providing advice, support, and assistance while ensuring the smooth running of the scheme. You will carry out health and safety checks, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and monitor residents’ wellbeing. The role also involves supporting tenancy sustainment, managing lettings processes, and promoting community engagement.
Key Responsibilities of a Scheme Manager:
Oversee daily management of the scheme, maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Provide residents with advice, support, and timely responses to enquiries
Carry out health and safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance checks
Report and follow up on repairs, liaising with contractors and internal teams
Monitor residents’ wellbeing and coordinate support with relevant agencies
Manage lettings, including viewings, sign-ups, and welcoming new residents
Address low-level anti-social behaviour and promote positive community relationships
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with policy
Ensure communal areas are maintained, coordinating cleaning and grounds services
Assist with rent monitoring and report arrears or changes in resident circumstances
Organise resident engagement activities to build a sense of communityWhat We'd Love To See From You:
Experience in housing or supported housing management
Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Fit and mobile to visit residents in over-55s bungalows
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
