School Caretaker

CCS are proud to be working in partnership with a Good-rated Ofsted secondary school seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join their site team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and hands-on individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented school environment. Key Responsibilities: * Carrying out general maintenance and DIY tasks * Conducting routine fire alarm checks * Acting as a key holder, including opening and securing the premises * Supporting with health & safety compliance * Ensuring the school site remains clean, safe and operational at all times * Assisting with room setups and general site duties as required Requirements: * Proven experience in general maintenance / DIY * Previous key holder experience * Experience completing fire alarm checks * A clean, in-date Enhanced Children’s DBS * School experience is desirable but not essential * Strong reliability, punctuality and ability to work independently Working Hours (Split Shift Pattern): Week 1 * Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 2:30pm * Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm Week 2 * Monday – Thursday: 12:00 pm – 7:30pm * Friday: 11:45am – 6:45pm
