Science Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Brent - ASAP Start - Full-Time Are you a Science graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school before pursuing a career in teaching? Tradewind Recruitment is working with welcoming secondary schools in Brent seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity to support students in science lessons while developing valuable classroom experience. Role Overview As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging science lessons while helping students stay focused and confident in their learning. Key responsibilities: Supporting students in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons Assisting the teacher with classroom activities and practical experiments Providing one-to-one or small group support to students who need extra help Helping prepare learning materials and lab equipment Encouraging student engagement and participation in lessons Supporting behaviour management within the classroom Following safeguarding procedures at all times Requirements A degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related) Interest in pursuing a career in education or teaching Strong communication and organisational skills A proactive and supportive approach to working with students Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply What's on Offer Full-time role - Monday to Friday (term-time only) Supportive secondary school environment in Brent Opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience Training and professional development Potential pathway into teacher training Apply If you are a Science graduate looking to gain school experience in Brent, we would love to hear from you.
