Job Advert: Key Stage 3 & 4 Science Teacher(Temporary – Potential to Extend) Location: HR7 Start Date: Easter Term Contract: Easter to May Half Term (with potential extension to the end of the academic year) School Type: Mainstream Secondary School We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive mainstream secondary school in HR7 from the Easter term. This is a temporary position initially running until May half term, with the possibility of extending through to the end of the academic year for the right candidate. The Role Teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress Contributing positively to the wider school community The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed) Demonstrate strong classroom management skills Be committed to raising achievement and supporting students of all abilities Be adaptable, proactive, and a team player We Offer: A supportive and collaborative department Well-resourced classrooms Engaged and enthusiastic students Potential for contract extension This is an excellent opportunity for a committed Science teacher seeking a rewarding short-term placement, with the possibility of longer-term employment.
