SEN Science Teacher (Chemistry & Physics) | Outstanding SEMH School | Cambridge Area | 1-Year Fixed Term

I C Talent is working with an Outstanding SEMH specialist school on the outskirts of Cambridge to recruit a passionate and adaptable Science Teacher (Chemistry & Physics) on a fixed-term basis (1 year).

This high-performing specialist provision supports pupils with a range of additional needs, with a particular focus on:

* Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

The Role:

* Deliver engaging and accessible Chemistry and Physics lessons tailored to individual needs

* Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with Autism and SEMH

* Build strong, positive relationships with students to support behaviour and engagement

* Work closely with support staff and wider professionals

* Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

What we’re looking for:

* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

* Experience or strong interest in working within SEN/SEMH settings

* Ability to teach Chemistry and Physics

* A patient, resilient, and flexible approach

* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
