Do you have strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry or Physics and the ability to engage students at KS3 and KS4?
Are you a committed Science Teacher seeking a full-time position with the potential to become permanent?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large secondary school in Manchester with a two-form entry, known for its supportive Senior Leadership Team and strong focus on staff development. The school provides a positive and inclusive learning environment where both students and staff are encouraged to succeed.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Science Teacher on a long-term, full-time basis starting in May, with the opportunity to move into a salaried position following a successful trial period. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining strong classroom management, and supporting student progress and attainment.
The successful Science Teacher will have:
• QTS with a Science specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Science up to Key Stage 4
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for raising attainment in Science
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
