Secondary Cover Supervisor

Exclusive Education is recruiting a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor for a long-term opportunity within a secondary school in Salford. Both part-time and full-time applications will be considered. The successful candidate will primarily provide classroom cover across Maths, Science and STEM-related subjects, supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher and ensuring lessons run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervising whole classes during teacher absences

* Delivering pre-set lesson materials and instructions

* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

* Ensuring students remain engaged and complete assigned work

* Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons

* Supporting students to maintain a positive learning environment

The successful candidate will have:

* Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting

* Strong behaviour management and communication skills

* Confidence working with secondary-aged students

* A degree in a STEM related subject is ideal

* A proactive and professional approach to classroom supervision

* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
