Job Title: Secondary English Teacher Location: South Shields Start Date: April 2026 Contract: Flexible (Short-term and long-term fixtures available) Salary- £130-£251 a day (paid to scale from day 1) Are you an English teacher with an enthusiasm for learning and inspiring the future generation? About the role: Delivering consistent, high quality English lessons to students across KS3 and KS4 (opportunities for KS5) Creating a positive and motivating classroom environment, that encourages progress and passion Managing classroom behaviour effectively Desirable candidates will have: Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or surrounding relevant teaching qualifications Previous experience teaching English at a secondary level Strong communication skills Ability to build rapport with students and teachers Maintain high standards of safeguarding, classroom management and student behaviour Why apply with Teaching Personnel?
