First for Education is seeking a flexible and confident Secondary Supply Teacher to provide P.E in a well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

This is a full-time, long-term position for the remainder of the academic year, delivering lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) and KS5 Desirable.

The school has a strong behaviour policy in place and a supportive senior leadership team, making it an excellent environment for a Secondary Supply Teacher looking for a consistent role in Birmingham (B17 Area).

The ideal candidate can be either male or female for the schools we are currently recruiting for.

Secondary Supply Teacher benefits

Secondary Supply Teacher role requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
– Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects
– Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
– A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
– Strong communication and organisational skills
– Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
– Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists

The successful Secondary Supply Teacher will:
– Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
– Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments
– Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
– Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
– Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
– Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
