Secondary Teaching Assistant

Secondary Teaching Assistant £95-105 per day Immediate Start Qualiteach Yorkshire are looking for an experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant for a school in Leeds. This may include working with children with moderate and complex learning and behaviour needs. The setting is a school who are looking for someone with a range of experience to join their team ASAP. The Role: * Can involve working with children on a 1:1 and group basis who have a variety of needs, tailoring learning to suit them * Working within a team and helping to build a comfortable environment for all children and staff, supporting challenging behaviour, SEN requirements and complex medical needs * Following care plans, EHCP’s, Pupil Passports and other relevant documents where necessary * Using a holistic approach within a multi-disciplinary team of specialists * May include carrying out individual interventions to aid children’s learning What you will need: * Experience of working with children who have complex needs * A willingness to ‘jump in’ and help where necessary * Being a positive role model and influence * The ability to support challenging behaviour, encourage independence and be patient and willing to build long lasting relationships with pupils * Have a good awareness of safeguarding procedures What we offer: When you work with Qualiteach, you will have access to a range of expertise and advice as well as benefits.
