Teacher of History (KS3-KS4) Location: Stockport Area Contract: Temporary - Summer Term Hours: Ideally full-time (5 days per week) Start Date: Summer Term Premier Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Stockport area seeking an enthusiastic and committed History Teacher to join their team for the Summer Term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys bringing history to life and inspiring students across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and welcoming school environment. Role Overview: Teaching History across KS3 and KS4 Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment Contributing to the wider Humanities department Candidate Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding Excellent classroom management and communication skills A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children What's on Offer: Summer Term role in a supportive secondary school Ideally 5 days per week (flexibility may be considered) Competitive daily pay rates based on experience Ongoing support from a dedicated Premier Education consultant Opportunity to work within a strong and collaborative department Premier Education is a trusted education recruitment agency, proudly supporting schools and educators across the North of England since 2001.
