Security Officer

Security Officer Hourly Rate: £13.31ph Hours: 30-40 hours per week consisting of shift patterns TBC, however early starts required - 0300am-12pm Location: Christchurch Temporary - Starting 23 rd April - October Tru Talent are delighted to be partnering with a leading UK airport, who are seeking a number of Security Officers to join their team on a seasonal basis to support during a busy period. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, delivering excellent customer service while ensuring safety and security remain the top priority. Key Responsibilities of the Security Officer: Carrying out passenger and baggage screening in line with airport security procedures Monitoring access points and controlling entry to restricted areas Conducting searches of passengers, staff and vehicles when required Performing regular patrols across the airport site to ensure safety and compliance Responding to security incidents and escalating where necessary Providing a high level of customer service to passengers and visitors Assisting passengers with directions, information, and additional support when needed Ensuring all security protocols and health & safety regulations are strictly followed Working closely with airport staff and emergency services when required Maintaining accurate records and reporting any suspicious activity Skills and Experience required for the Security Officer: Previous experience within a security role is beneficial Backgrounds in customer service, hospitality, warehouse or maintenance will be considered Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional approach Flexible, reliable and proactive attitude Ability to follow strict health and safety procedures Due to the location, candidates must have their own transport.
