The school supports young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, providing a structured and supportive environment where staff work collaboratively to help students re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes. As an SEMH Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet individual learning and behavioural needs. You will work closely with teaching assistants and the wider SEN team to promote engagement, positive behaviour and emotional regulation, while helping students build confidence and independence within the classroom. To be successful, you should have experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs, ideally within a specialist or alternative provision setting. Strong behaviour management skills, resilience and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils are essential.
