SEMH Teacher
Job Title: Full time SEMH Teacher Contract Duration: Temporary Start Date: ASAP Location: Weston-super-Mare We are looking for a dedicated full‑time SEMH Teacher to join a SEMH school in Weston‑super‑Mare. This role is available for an immediate start and will run until the end of the academic year. The successful teacher will take full responsibility for a class of eight students, supported by three additional members of staff, and will be expected to take on full classroom responsibilities. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualised education plans tailored to students' unique needs Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons for students with SEMH needs Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students Provide targeted support and interventions to help students achieve their potential Collaborate with parents, guardians, and multi-disciplinary teams Provide guidance and support to teaching assistants and support staff Maintain accurate records and documentation Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environmentRequirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Prior experience working with pupils with SEN/SEMH needs Strong understanding of SEN policies and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students' growthWhy Choose Us?
