Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a specialist secondary provision in North London to recruit passionate and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistants.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people aged 11-18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where every student is supported to reach their full potential-both academically and personally.

The Role:

Supporting students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging, tailored lessons
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, behavioural needs, or additional needs
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learnersDesirable:
