Academics are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for specialist schools across Brighton. You'll be supporting pupils with a variety of needs including Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Global Development Delay and Moderate Learning Difficulties.
Whether you have previous SEN experience, a background in care, youth work or psychology, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting pupils throughout the school day
Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
Encouraging communication, confidence and independence
Working closely with teachers and specialist staff
Promoting positive behaviour and engagementRequirements
Experience working with children or vulnerable adults is desirable
Positive, resilient and caring attitude
Ability to build strong relationships
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)What Academics Offers
