Apply NowWe are currently recruiting for SEN Learning Support Assistants within a college setting, supporting learners with additional needs and learning disabilities.
Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Role Details:
* Contract: Permanent
* Full-time: 37 hours per week, 37 weeks per year.
* Part-time: 22.2 hours per week (3 days).
The Role:
You will work closely with students who have additional learning needs, providing classroom support and helping them develop confidence, independence and essential life skills.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting learners with a range of learning disabilities and additional needs.
* Providing 1:1 and small-group learning support.
* Encouraging student participation, engagement and independence.
* Supporting learners with their personal, social and educational development.
* Working alongside tutors and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
Essential Requirements:
* GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
* Previous experience supporting young people or adults with learning disabilities.
* A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
* A genuine passion for supporting learners with additional needs.
