Location: Bishop's Stortford and surrounding areas Position: Full-Time (Agency Cover) / Permanent Opportunities Available Salary: £89 – £110 per day Working Pattern: Flexible Job Description We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across primary schools in the Bishop's Stortford area. This role offers full-time agency cover with opportunities for permanent positions for the right candidates. You will be supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN Assist pupils with learning, behaviour, and emotional needs Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies Encourage positive behaviour and social development Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils Requirements Previous experience working in schools (essential) Experience supporting pupils with SEN (essential) Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patient, caring, and adaptable approach Ability to work across different school settings Commitment to safeguarding and child protection What We Offer Competitive daily rate: £89 – £110 per day Flexible working patterns to suit your availability Opportunities for long-term and permanent placements Ongoing support from our agency team Access to a variety of school environments Professional development opportunities Who This Role Is For This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking for flexible, rewarding work within education All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
