SEN Learning Support Assistant – Specialist Schools UES1 Location: Croydon Start Date: ASAP Hours: Full Time or Part Time Available Salary: Competitive / Depending on Experience We are currently looking for SEN Learning Support Assistants to work across specialist schools in the Croydon area, supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs from primary age through to post-16. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting students with additional needs and helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally within a supportive educational environment. Key Responsibilities: * Provide classroom and one-to-one support for pupils with SEN. * Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities. * Support students with communication, behaviour, and daily learning tasks. * Encourage independence and positive engagement in lessons. * Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment. Requirements: * A Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one. * A positive, patient, and supportive approach when working with children and young people. * Strong teamwork and communication skills. * Previous experience working with SEN pupils is beneficial but not essential.
