SEN Primary Teacher

Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: MPS1 - MPS6 + SEN Allowance
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Start Date: Immediate

Are you a passionate SEN Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity for a thriving special education trust, based in East Manchester.

We are working with a charming and inclusive SEN school that supports pupils from EYFS through to KS3, with a strong focus on ASC and autism. The school is seeking a dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to support pupils, delivering tailored, engaging lessons that help every child reach their full potential.

This is an immediate start after Easter, full-time position within a supportive SEN environment where staff collaboration, strong leadership, and child-centred learning are at the heart of everything they do.

The Role:

✔ Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons aligned with the primary curriculum
✔ Support pupils with ASC and autism, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs
✔ Lead and manage a class team of skilled Teaching Assistants and support staff
✔ Create a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment
✔ Work closely with families, SEN professionals, and external agencies
✔ Track progress and support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate:

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ Experience teaching within SEN or primary settings
✔ Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and SATs preparation
✔ A patient, creative, and resilient approach to teaching
✔ Confident leading a class team and supporting behaviour positively
✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
