Job Advertisement: SEN Teachers – Reception & KS2 (Autism Specialist Provision) UET1 Location: SE5 Start Date: After Easter Contract: Full Time Salary: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS depending on experience) We are currently seeking two dedicated SEN Teachers to join a specialist provision in the SE5 area supporting pupils with Autism. These are full-time roles starting after the Easter break, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and well-resourced specialist setting. Available Roles: * Reception SEN Teacher * KS2 SEN Teacher Both positions involve teaching small classes of pupils with Autism, delivering personalised learning and supporting pupils’ communication, social development, and academic progress within a structured and nurturing environment. The Role: * Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with Autism and additional needs. * Work closely with teaching assistants and specialist staff to provide targeted support. * Create a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. * Monitor pupil progress and adapt learning strategies to meet individual needs. * Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and families to support each pupil’s development. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). * Experience working with pupils with Autism or additional needs (in mainstream or specialist settings). * A patient, nurturing, and flexible teaching approach. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * A commitment to inclusive education and supporting pupils to reach their potential.
