We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking school community in Newcastle. This is a rewarding opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Support pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families
Monitor and track student progress, adapting strategies as needed
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
What We’re Looking For
A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and problem-solving
A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
A genuine passion for improving outcomes and changing the lives of children
Experience working with SEN pupils (preferred but not essential for the right candidate)
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
